Today I wanted to talk to you a little bit about how we differ from discount brokers in terms of photography. We only provide professional photography including 3D walkthrough tours, video tours and a website specifically for your home to showcase all this great photography.
Today I want to talk to you a little bit about how we are different than discount brokers here in the metro Denver area and along the Front Range of Colorado. Many of the discount brokers out there will give you a deal on commission but they will have things that they will not do for you.
What does it take to sell your home in this market and in this time period? It takes maximum exposure to the market and being online in as many places as you can be. Most traditional agents are only a member of one MLS system.
One thing that we do is we provide electronic lock boxes on all of our listings. This is versus the traditional agent where 90 plus percent of those agents are still putting manual lock boxes out there for their listings.
This is the first in a series where I’m going to explain the differences between us and a traditional real estate agent. One of the main differences is of course what we charge. We charge 1% commission for all of our listings. That is about a third of what other agents are charging. Many agents out there are charging a full 6% Commission and then they’re paying approximately 2.8 percent of the buyer’s agent which means you are paying the listing agent 3.2 percent Commission versus our 1%.
